From the bank side of the table

Ahmed has spent his career inside banks, a digital bank and a regulated digital lender in South Asia and the Gulf, leading technology programs that had to work in production: national instant payments integrations, multi-scheme card programs, branchless banking and wallets, digital onboarding and e-KYC, a first-in-market BNPL journey, and core banking migrations across three bank mergers.

Most recently he led delivery for a $100M+ digital lending portfolio of 80+ initiatives, rebuilding program governance and moving delivery into a SAFe Agile Release Train. He now works from the Washington DC area with banks, fintechs, lenders and payments companies.

He uses AI tools daily in delivery work, for reporting, risk analysis and workflow automation, and applies the same governance discipline to AI that regulated institutions apply to any other change.
